ध्यानम् ।

श्रीमन्मातरमम्बिकां विधिमनोजातां सदाभीष्टदां
स्कन्देष्टां च जगत्प्रसूं विजयदां सत्पुत्र सौभाग्यदां ।
सद्रत्नाभरणान्वितां सकरुणां शुभ्रां शुभां सुप्रभां
षष्ठांशां प्रकृतेः परं भगवतीं श्री देवसेनां भजे ॥

శ్రీమన్మాతరమంబికాం విధిమనోజాతాం సదాభీష్టదాం
స్కందేష్టాం చ జగత్ప్రసూం విజయదాం సత్పుత్ర సౌభాగ్యదాం |
సద్రత్నాభరణాన్వితాం సకరుణాం శుభ్రాం శుభాం సుప్రభాం
షష్ఠాంశాం ప్రకృతేః పరం భగవతీం శ్రీ దేవసేనాం భజే ||

षष्ठांशां प्रकृतेः शुद्धां सुप्रतिष्टां च सुव्रतां
सुपुत्रदां च शुभदां दयारूपां जगत्प्रसूं ।
श्वेतचम्पकवर्णाभां रक्तभूषणभूषितां
पवित्ररूपां परमं देवसेना परां भजे ॥

షష్ఠాంశాం ప్రకృతేః శుద్ధాం సుప్రతిష్టాం చ సువ్రతాం
సుపుత్రదాం చ శుభదాం దయారూపాం జగత్ప్రసూం |
శ్వేతచంపకవర్ణాభాం రక్తభూషణభూషితాం
పవిత్రరూపాం పరమం దేవసేనా పరాం భజే ||

Meaning: O mother of the goddess Ambika, born of the law and mind, always bestower of desires
O son of the virtuous, she is the beloved of Skanda, the mother of the universe, and bestows victory and good fortune.
She was adorned with jewels and ornaments and was compassionate white and auspicious and radiant
I worship the sixth part of nature, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Devasena.
A sixth of nature, pure, well-established and well-vowed
She bestows good sons and auspiciousness and is the mother of the universe in the form of mercy.
She was white and champagne-coloured and adorned with red ornaments
I worship that most holy form, the supreme army of the demigods.

स्तोत्रम् ।

नमो देव्यै महादेव्यै सिद्ध्यै शान्त्यै नमो नमः ।
शुभायै देवसेनायै षष्ठी देव्यै नमो नमः ॥ १ ॥

Namo Deviya Mahadevi, Siddhai, Shantiai Namo Namah
Shubhayay Devasenaayi, Shashti Devyai Namo Namah || 1 ||

నమో దేవ్యై మహాదేవ్యై సిద్ధ్యై శాంత్యై నమో నమః |
శుభాయై దేవసేనాయై షష్ఠీ దేవ్యై నమో నమః || 1 ||

Meaning: Obeisances to the goddess, the great goddess, perfection and peace.
Obeisances to the auspicious sixth goddess, who is the army of the demigods.

वरदायै पुत्रदायै धनदायै नमो नमः ।
सुखदायै मोक्षदायै षष्ठी देव्यै नमो नमः ॥ २ ॥

Varadāyai puthradāyai, dhanadāyai namō namaḥ
sukhadāyai mōkṣhadāyai, Shashti Devyai Namo Namah || 2 ||

వరదాయై పుత్రదాయై ధనదాయై నమో నమః |
సుఖదాయై మోక్షదాయై షష్ఠీ దేవ్యై నమో నమః || 2 ||

Meaning: Obeisances to you, who bestow boons, sons and wealth.
Obeisances to the sixth goddess, who bestows happiness and liberation.

सृष्ट्यै षष्ठांशरूपायै सिद्धायै च नमो नमः ।
मायायै सिद्धयोगिन्यै षष्ठी देव्यै नमो नमः ॥ ३ ॥

Sr̥uṣhṭyai sr̥uṣhṭa śwaroopāyai, siddhāyai cha namō namaḥ
māayai siddhayōginyai, Shashti Devyai Namo Namah || 3 ||

సృష్ట్యై షష్ఠాంశరూపాయై సిద్ధాయై చ నమో నమః |
మాయాయై సిద్ధయోగిన్యై షష్ఠీ దేవ్యై నమో నమః || 3 ||

Meaning: Obeisances to You, who are the sixth form of creation and who are perfect.
Obeisances to the sixth goddess, Māyā, who is the perfect yogī.

सारायै शारदायै च परादेव्यै नमो नमः ।
बालादिष्टातृ देव्यै च षष्ठी देव्यै नमो नमः ॥ ४ ॥

Sāarāyai śhāradāyai cha paraādēvyai namō namaḥ
bālādishtyai dēvyai, Shashti Devyai Namo Namah || 4 ||

సారాయై శారదాయై చ పరాదేవ్యై నమో నమః |
బాలాదిష్టాతృ దేవ్యై చ షష్ఠీ దేవ్యై నమో నమః || 4 ||

Meaning: Obeisances to Sarai, the autumnal goddess, and to the other goddess.
Obeisances to the sixth goddess, who is the mother of children.

कल्याणदायै कल्याण्यै फलदायै च कर्मणां ।
प्रत्यक्षायै सर्वभक्तानां षष्ठी देव्यै नमो नमः ॥ ५ ॥

Kaḷyāṇa dhāyai kaḷyān’yai phaladāyai cha karmāṇāṁ
prathyakṣhāyai sarwabhākthānāṁ, Shashti Devyai Namo Namah || 5 ||

కళ్యాణదాయై కళ్యాణ్యై ఫలదాయై చ కర్మణాం |
ప్రత్యక్షాయై సర్వభక్తానాం షష్ఠీ దేవ్యై నమో నమః || 5 ||

Meaning: O bestower of good fortune and auspiciousness, O bestower of the fruits of actions,
Obeisances to the sixth goddess, who is directly manifest to all devotees.

पूज्यायै स्कन्दकान्तायै सर्वेषां सर्वकर्मसु ।
देवरक्षणकारिण्यै षष्ठी देव्यै नमो नमः ॥ ६ ॥

Pūjyāayai skandakānthāyai sarvēṣhāṁ sarwakarmasu
dēva rakṣhaṇakārin’yai, Shashti Devyai Namo Namah || 6 ||

పూజ్యాయై స్కందకాంతాయై సర్వేషాం సర్వకర్మసు |
దేవరక్షణకారిణ్యై షష్ఠీ దేవ్యై నమో నమః || 6 ||

Meaning: She is worshiped by all and is the beloved of Lord Skanda in all her activities.
Obeisances to the sixth goddess, who protects the demigods.

शुद्धसत्त्वस्वरूपायै वन्दितायै नृणां सदा ।
हिंसाक्रोधवर्जितायै षष्ठी देव्यै नमो नमः ॥ ७ ॥

Śuddhasatva swaroopayai, vandithāyai nr̥uāaṁ sadhā
himsāakrōdha varjithāyai, Shashti Devyai Namo Namah || 7 ||

శుద్ధసత్త్వస్వరూపాయై వందితాయై నృణాం సదా |
హింసాక్రోధవర్జితాయై షష్ఠీ దేవ్యై నమో నమః || 7 ||

Meaning: O form of pure goodness, you are always worshiped by men.
Obeisances to the sixth goddess, who is free from violence and anger.

धनं देहि प्रियां देहि पुत्रं देहि सुरेश्वरि ।
मानं देहि जयं देहि द्विषो जहि महेश्वरि ।
धर्मं देहि यशो देहि षष्ठी देवी नमो नमः ॥ ८ ॥

Dhanaṁ dēhi priyaṁ dēhi, puthrāṁ dēhi surēśhwari
mōkṣhaṁ dēhi jayaṁ dēhi, yaśhōdēhi mahēśhwari
dharmaṁ dēhi yaśhōdēhi Shashti Devyai Namo Namah || 8 ||

ధనం దేహి ప్రియాం దేహి పుత్రం దేహి సురేశ్వరి |
మానం దేహి జయం దేహి ద్విషో జహి మహేశ్వరి |
ధర్మం దేహి యశో దేహి షష్ఠీ దేవీ నమో నమః || 8 ||

Meaning: Give me wealth, give me my beloved, give me my son, O goddess of the demigods.
O great goddess, please give me honor, victory and kill my enemies.
O sixth goddess, please give me religion and fame. I offer my respectful obeisances unto you.

देहि भूमिं प्रजां देहि विद्यां देहि सुपूजिते ।
कल्याणं च जयं देहि षष्ठी देव्यै नमो नमः ॥ ९ ॥

Dēhi bhoomiṁ, prajāṁ dēhi vidhyāṁ dēhi supoojithē
kaḷyāṇaaṁ cha jayaṁ dēhi, vidhyādēvi namō namaḥ || 9 ||

దేహి భూమిం ప్రజాం దేహి విద్యాం దేహి సుపూజితే |
కళ్యాణం చ జయం దేహి షష్ఠీ దేవ్యై నమో నమః || 9 ||

Meaning: O well-worshipped one, please give me land, progeny and knowledge.
O sixth goddess, please grant me good fortune and victory. I offer my respectful obeisances unto you.

फलशृति ।

इति देवीं च संस्तुत्य लभेत्पुत्रं प्रियव्रतं ।
यशश्विनं च राजेन्द्रं षष्ठी देवि प्रसादत ॥

Idi dēvīṁ samsuthmōlēkē puthraṁ priyaputra |
yaśminaṁ cha rājēndraṁ ṣhaṣṭhī dēvi prasādata ||

ఇతి దేవీం చ సంస్తుత్య లభేత్పుత్రం ప్రియవ్రతం |
యశశ్వినం చ రాజేంద్రం షష్ఠీ దేవి ప్రసాదత ||

Meaning: After thus praising the goddess, one should obtain a son who is pleasing to the Lord.
O goddess, please be pleased with the sixth king, Yaśaśvinā.

षष्ठी स्तोत्रमिदं ब्रह्मान् यः शृणोति तु वत्सरं ।
अपुत्रो लभते पुत्रं वरं सुचिर जीवनम् ॥

ṣhaṣṭhī stōtraṁ idaṁ brahma yaśmanōthi cha vathsaraṁ |
aputhrō labhathē puthrān varaṁ suchira jeevanaṁ ||

షష్ఠీ స్తోత్రమిదం బ్రహ్మాన్ యః శృణోతి తు వత్సరం |
అపుత్రో లభతే పుత్రం వరం సుచిర జీవనం ||

Meaning: This is the sixth stotra of the Brahman, and one who hears it for a year.
A man who has no son will get a son who is blessed with a long life.

वर्षमेकं च या भक्त्या संस्तुत्येदं शृणोति च ।
सर्वपापात्विनिर्मुक्ता महावन्ध्या प्रसूयते ॥

varṣhamē kan̄cha yōbhaktya sampoojaṁ sr̥unōdhicha |
sarwapāpa vinirmukhtō mahāvandhyā prasooyathē ||

వర్షమేకం చ యా భక్త్యా సంస్తుత్యేదం శృణోతి చ |
సర్వపాపాత్వినిర్ముక్తా మహావంధ్యా ప్రసూయతే ||

Meaning: She who praises and hears this with devotion for one year.
She is freed from all sins and gives birth to a very barren woman.

वीरं पुत्रं च गुणिनं विद्यावन्तं यशस्विनं ।
सुचिरायुष्यवन्तं च सूते देवि प्रसादतः ॥

vīraputhraṁ cha guṇīnaṁ, vidyāvanthaṁ yaśaśminaṁ |
suchir āyuṣhyantrancha ṣhaṣṭimāthr̥u prasādithat ||

వీరం పుత్రం చ గుణినం విద్యావన్తం యశస్వినం |
సుచిరాయుష్యవన్తం చ సూతే దేవి ప్రసాదతః ||

Meaning: He had a heroic son who was virtuous, learned and renowned.
O charioteer, by your grace, O charioteer, may you live a long life.

काक वन्ध्या च या नारी मृतपत्या च या भवेत् ।
वर्षं शृत्वा लभेत्पुत्रं षष्ठी देवी प्रसादतः ॥

kāka vandhyā ca yā nārī mr̥tapatyā ca yā bhavēt |
varṣaṁ śr̥tvā labhētputraṁ ṣaṣṭhī dēvī prasādataḥ ||

కాక వంధ్యా చ యా నారీ మృతపత్యా చ యా భవేత్ |
వర్షం శృత్వా లభేత్పుత్రం షష్ఠీ దేవీ ప్రసాదతః ||

Meaning: A crow is a woman who is barren and whose husband has died.
By the grace of the sixth goddess, she will hear the rain and will have a son.

रोग युक्ते च बाले च पितामाता शृणोति चेत् ।
मासेन मुच्यते रोगान् षष्ठी देवी प्रसादतः ॥

rōga yuktē ca bālē ca pitāmātā śr̥ṇōti cēt |
māsēna mucyatē rōgān ṣaṣṭhī dēvī prasādataḥ ||

రోగ యుక్తే చ బాలే చ పితామాతా శృణోతి చేత్ |
మాసేన ముచ్యతే రోగాన్ షష్ఠీ దేవీ ప్రసాదతః ||

Meaning: If a parent listens to a child who is sick,
By the grace of the sixth goddess, one is freed from all diseases in one month.

जय देवि जगन्मातः जगदानन्दकारिणि ।
प्रसीद मम कल्याणि नमस्ते षष्ठी देवते ॥

jaya dēvi jaganmātaḥ jagadānandakāriṇi |
prasīda mama kalyāṇi namastē ṣaṣṭhī dēvatē ||

జయ దేవి జగన్మాతః జగదానందకారిణి |
ప్రసీద మమ కళ్యాణి నమస్తే షష్ఠీ దేవతే ||

Meaning: Jaya Devi, mother of the universe, bestower of the bliss of the universe.
O auspicious one, please be merciful to me. I offer my obeisances to you, the sixth deity.
