What should I do on ekadashi

    Ekadashi is an important fasting day in Hindu religion. Lord Vishnu is worshipped on this day. Observing Ekadashi fast helps in removing sins and gaining punya.

    What to do on Ekadashi :-

    Observe fast: Fasting on Ekadashi is a tradition. You can observe a complete fast or consume fruits, milk, etc.
    Worship Lord Vishnu: Worshipping Lord Vishnu on Ekadashi is considered very auspicious. You can chant Vishnu Sahasranama.
    Listen to Ekadashi Katha: Listening to Ekadashi Katha brings peace to the mind and gives religious knowledge.
    Sing bhajans and kirtans: Singing bhajans and kirtans makes the mind happy and increases devotion to God.
    Donate: Donating is a virtuous act. You can donate for Annadaan Seva, Gaushala, etc.
    You can celebrate Pavitrapana Ekadashi festival by coming to ISKCON Newtown. Special programs are organized at ISKCON Newtown on the day of Ekadashi. Here you can listen to Ekadashi Katha, get a chance to sing bhajans and kirtans, and experience the worship of Lord Vishnu.
