    Hello everybody..I just wanted to know if one can make their own runes. Does it have to be made by a special type of wood?

    No not at all. They don’t need to be made out of special wood. Even a stone can be used. It is important that you should be drawn towards it. Have a great day !

    I must say I have a special inclination towards oak tree and it has increased many fold after I made my runes from it. In fact I wood burned the symbols in and currently I am extremely satisfied and contented with it.

    Just to add on I have heard that Rowan wood is extremely good for making the tool owing to its unique properties. But I’ m finding it hard to get it in the place where I am staying. So the next option would surely be oak tree.
