Here goes the story of Lord Buddha. Buddha as we all know was known for being peaceful, calm and always blissful. He was always surrounded by people, followers who wanted to follow his path , listen to his wise words.Invariably he had a huge crowd always following him and admiring him. His reputation crossed limits and spread far away, however this was not liked by some group of jealousy monks and wanted to ruin his reputation and destroy him completely and hence created a plot.
So one evening they asked a beautiful lady to go to and pretend as though she was staying in the Buddha Monastery and return early next morning. She followed their commands and early next morning she told the neighbors that she spent the night with Buddha. People around were quite perturbed but this still dint bother or disturb their belief. eventually this lady slowly pretended to be pregnant with a baby hump that was gradually increasing in size and tried walking like a pregnant lady.
One day when Buddha was addressing a huge gathering this lady screamed at Buddha in front of the entire crowd and rattled and yelled at buddha and told the crowd how irresponsible he could be and does not even know how to take care of his wife and baby. Even before she could complete the sentence the clothes which she stuffed under her waist started loosening and her baby hump had to disappear. The people were shocked and started screaming at her for her outrageous act. She ran as quickly as possible and ultimately met with an accident that ended her life. Budha who remained calm throughout the event finally told his devotees that we decide our own fate by our own actions.
The one who does not fear to tell lies does not bother to what happens in his future and will always be ready to do evil acts without a second thought. We for sure cannot alter our past but we can create a better future with our deeds .Do not harm or do any evil deeds as it can return and the impact can be terrible. Do good to others and we will surely be blessed. Karma for sure does bounce back .June 22, 2015 at 3:43 pm #4772Manisha AroraParticipantvery nice article!!! Karma is like a ball which you hit against a wall. It returns back to you with the same at which you throw it. Spoken words cannot be taken back. Think before you speak and think before you do every action.
