Sri Asdha Thasa Puja Kaliamman Alayam was started by Siva Sri Shanmuganathan in the year 1999. It was first located at the temple priest’s house who is known as AMMA. The temple was well known for ARUL VAAKKU. After few years, temple was well established and a bigger temple was built in the location Air Semubok, Durian Tunggal, Malacca on 8th of August 2002. Sri Ashda Thasa Puja Kaliamman Temple conducts prayers, poojas that attracts many walk of life. The temple through the inspiring Siva Sri Shanmuganathan devotes a great deal of time to help countless individuals in their troubles, difficulty and hardships, meeting listening and providing guidance to atleast 500 people a day in the temple with no charge! In contribution to the great work that takes place here, Sri Ashda Thasa Puja Kaliamman Temple was awarded by UNESCO.
Sri Asdha Thasa Kaliamman Alayam was a small temple run by two friends.It was first located at the temple priest house who is known as AMMA. The temple was well known for ARUL VAAKU. Soon the temple became a place for those in need. Alayam became very well known not only in Malacca but all over Malaysia and also Singapore and India as well.
After few years with the blessing of AMMA, a bigger alayam was built. It was on the 8th of August 2002.This alayam is the only temple which has 18 hands KALIAMMAN in a sitting form. Every Pournami, “Thee Chatti Pooja” will be held. Its the first alayam to have thee chatti pooja in Asia. Not only devotees from Malacca fulfill their vows but there are also devotees from all over comes on this special day.
Every year on December Pratyangira Homam will be held in the alayam. Performing Pratyangira Devi Homam will bless us with the best things of life. The powerful vibrations of this Homam helps us tomget rid of negative energy in any form– enemies, accidents, evil eye casting and other hostile elements. The Goddess will shield us with positivity, peace and prosperity forever and ever when we try accessing her divinity.
