The Rama Krishna Mandir of Atlanta is designed to nurture the minds of all who attend, by teaching them the values of Sanatana Dharma and helping them grow into responsible and productive citizens of tomorrow. The Rama Krishna Mandir program fills a critical need in this fast-paced society where our children are confronted with a variety of conflicting choices by teaching them self-discipline, instilling a sense of responsibility, and enabling them to make the right choices that will lead to their own betterment and that of the society at-large. These goals will be accomplished through a well-defined curriculum, which will draw on the ideals of the Sri Mad Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana and aims to provide a solid spiritual foundation in Hindu philosophy coupled with a deep appreciation for Indian heritage and culture.

It took hundreds of congregational members and well wishers to make New Panihati Dham, the vibrant and colourful community it is today. From it’s humble beginnings more than forty five years ago near Emory University, to the current beautiful home for Sri Sri Gaura Nitai on Ponce de Leon Ave., it has been a blissful labour of true love and devotion inspired by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
Every devotee associated with the history of New Panihati Dham, has a unique relationship with the deities and has a story worth telling. As we usher in the next forty years: we are inspired to serve and protect Srila Prabhupada’s vision and to cherish and distribute Lord Gauranga’s mercy.
