Aryankuzhi Devi temple is positioned in Aryankuzhi, Thiruvananthapuram district in the state of Kerala, India. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Aryankuzhi Devi, a form of Goddess Shakthi.
The legend says that when a few children were playing, one kid fell down on a sedimentary rock and the rock started bleeding. Astrologers confirmed the presence of divinity in the stone and raised a temple.
The presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Aryankuzhi Devi. Other shrines in the temple include Lord Ganesha, Lord Nagaraja Brahmarakshasu, Lord Maadan Thampuran and Goddess Yakshi amma. The temple opens daily at 4.45 AM in the morning for Palliyunarthal ceremony and closes at 8.00 PM after Athazha Pooja and Deeparadhana. The major festival celebrated in the temple is Ooroottu. Other festivals celebrated in this temple include Navarathri Mahotshavam, Aadi chovva and Vishu.
The temple is open for devotees from 4.45 AM to 10.35 AM and from 5 PM to 8 PM.
