The Kovilvila Bhagavathi Temple is positioned in Sreekanteswaram, Thiruvananthapuram district in the state of Kerala, India. After an elaborate Ashtamangala Prasanam in Sreekanteswaram, the Kovilvila Bhagavathi temple was constructed in a piece of land adjacent to Pazhaya Sreekanteswaram. The Guardian Deities of the tharavad are Kalari Bhadrakali, Meru Sreechakaram, and Karanavar. The five-headed Naga and Chitrakootam were installed by Amedamangalathu Vishnu Nambuthari.
The most important Vazhipadu (offering to the God) in the temple is offering Neyvilakku for eleven consecutive days.
Temple is opened from 9.30 AM to 1.30 PM and from 4.30 PM to 7.30 PM.
