Thrikkalanjoor Sree Mahadeva Temple is positioned in Kalanjoor, Pathanamthitta district in the state of Kerala, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is popularly known as Thrikkalanjoor Sree Mahadeva temple. The temple is administered by Sankarapurathu Mukkalvattom Devaswom.

According to the history, the main deity was installed by the Saint Khara, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva and it claims an antiquity of more than 1100 years. It is said that the place was a dense forest are before the ancient temple was constructed. Saint Khara performed severe penance and was successful in pleasing Lord Shiva by his devotion. Saint Khara installed three Shiva Lingas during an auspicious time at three different places equidistant from each other in the east-west direction. The thanthram of this temple is performed by Kullakkada Thamarassery Nambi Madhom.
The temple stands as an excellent example of the traditional Kerala architecture. The walls of the temple are decorated with the mural paintings depicting the stories of Gods and Goddesses. Inside the Mandapa, there is a magnificent idol of Lord Nataraja. The sixty feet tall gopuram and the sacred banyan tree stand as the major attractions of the temple. The sanctum of the temple is constructed in a circular manner.
The temple is open for devotees from 4.45 AM to 10.30 PM and from 5.30 PM to 8 PM.
The annual festival starts in the Malayalam month of Meenam. The festival lasts eight days and on the sixth day, specifically, Indilayappan festival is celebrated. The festival is famous for its Carnatic music renditions. Many great musicians and singers have performed here. Other festivals celebrated in the temple include Mahashivarathri, Ashtairohini, Bhagavatha Sapthaham, Vinayaka Chathurthi, Ponkala, and Pathamudayam.
The major offerings and poojas to the deity in the temple are Ganapathy Homam, Swayamvarachana, Karuka Homam, Eratti Payasam, Ashtothararchana, Bhasmabishekam, Ashtabishekam, Athazha Pooja, Usha Pooja, Ucha Pooja, Deeparadhana and Vigneswara Pooja.
