Lokanarkavu Temple, Kerala

The temple is open for devotees from 5.30 AM to 11 AM and from 5 PM to 8 PM.

The major festivals celebrated in the temple include Vrishchika Utsavam, Meenam and Navarathri. The temple is famous for the peculiar folk dance, Poorakkali and the dance from resembling Kalarippayattu, presented during the annual festivals of the temple. The best period to visit the temple is during the months of November-December and March-April.

The presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Durga. Pushpanjali, Raktha Pushpanjali, Kukumarchana, Sahasranama Archana, Koottu Payasam, Ashtasrawya Ganapathi Homam are the various poojas and offerings to the deity.
