Journey Exploring Lord Krishna’s Childhood

After the birth of Lord Krishna, his father Vasudeva brought him to Gokula. He was brought up in the safe and secured supervision of mother Yashoda and Nand. The maternal uncle of Lord Krishna, King Kansa was destined to die in his hands and thus the king wanted to kill Krishna right from his birth. During his childhood, Krishna faced several perilous situations that were designed by the notorious Kansa, however no one could slay him for his unsurpassed divine power.
The destinations you will visit include Delhi, Mathura, Gokul, Mahavan, Nand Gaon, Barsana and Agra.
Itinerary Details
Day 1 – Delhi
As soon as you arrive at the Delhi Airport, our tour representative will assist you further in moving to the hotel. In the afternoon, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Delhi covering temples that include Laxmi Narayan Temple, Hanuman Mandir, Gauri Shankar Mandir, India Gate and Chattarpur Mandir, followed by overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 – Delhi – Mathura
The day starts with a road journey to Mathura, the birth place of Lord Krishna. After some rest in between, you will proceed towards Vrindavan, a little hamlet near Mathura where Lord Krishna is said to have stayed till his age 14. The attractions that you will see include Govind Dev Temple, Rangaji Temple, Madan Mohan Temple, Bankey Bihari Temple and Glass Temple.
Day 3 – Mathura – Gokul – Mahavan – Goverdhan – Mathura
The third day starts with a road journey to Gokul, where Lord Krishna is said to have been fostered by Yashoda Maiya. Next is the the visit to Gokul Nathji Temple, followed by the travel to Mahavan, which is believed to be the cradle of Lord Krishna. Then, you will be visiting the Assi Khamba temple dedicated to Mathura Nath Ji. Later, proceed to Goverdhan, where Lord Krishna is said to have lifted the Goverdhan hill on his finger for seven days and nights to save the residents of Braj from the wrath of Lord Indra. Then, return to Mathura for overnight stay.
Day 4 – Mathura – Nand Gaon – Barsana – Mathura
Start the day with a road trip to Nand Gaon, the birth place and me of Lord Krishna’s foster father Nand. Pan Sarovar, one of the four most famous lakes in Braj is situated close to Nand village. Later, proceed to Barsana, the birth place of Radha and housed with temples buil in the veneration of Ladliji (Radha). The day ends with the visit to the Prem Sarovar, the first place where Lord Krishna and his love Radha met.
Day 5 – Mathura – Agra
This full day is left to explore the attractions in Agra such as Taj Mahal, Agra Dort and the tomb of Itmad – Ud – Daulah, followed by the overnight stay in Agra.
Day 6 – Departure
On the final day of the tour, you will be transferred to the airport to board the connecting flight to Delhi for onward journey.
