Maya implies that everything is just an interaction with the human mind everything is unreal - just an illusion. It means that the only reality is Death, stillness - a vacuum!
Our five senses are nothing but tools to comprehend this illusion, to convince the mind that the unreal is real.
For instance, the three states of matter - solid, liquid and gas are an illusion. It is just a complex concept where the atoms are closely or loosely binded together - the Law of Vibration. Solids are a result of atoms binded so closely that light doesn't pass through it, liquids are a result of slightly loosely binded atoms that permit a little light to pass through it while in case of gases, the atoms are so loosely binded that light can easily pass through it. Now the question is, what binds the atoms together? And the answer is Ego, the individuality or identifying property of an animate being or inanimate object. The Ego is always in search of an identity so that it can stand out.
Perception is an art taught by the Guru. Nothing that exists is to be taken at face value. Everything has a hidden meaning. And to decode this hidden meaning is nothing but Sadhna.
A Sadhak is someone who first masters the senses, each sensory organ standing for each of the five elements. Once a Sadhak masters the senses, the next task begins - to go beyond the senses!
Everything we perceive is relative - just an individual truth. The Universal Truth is that there is no Truth. This is the essence of Tantra.
Expecting someone else to perceive something the way you do is sheer Ego. Different people can have different perceptions. It is a game of multiple interpretations - every interpretation is correct.
The Dual world is the biggest Illusion. Male-Female, Good- Bad, Black-White, Positive-Negative is just what the mind conjures. That is the power of thought!
Advaita or Non Duality is a constant practice. It requires strict control of the physical and non physical self. The mind is a beautiful slave and a dangerous master. Ego does not desire the Truth. It just desires a constant validation that its perception is the Truth.
Do not be a slave to your senses. Reality is beyond the veil of perception ! ... See MoreSee Less

To live in the present is when you have left your past behind and you are not overly bothered with the future. what is the whole point of crying over something that is gone? It can't be changed. and what is the whole point of stressing on the future? It hasn't arrived. NOW! You are breathing. Why not be grateful to the universe for letting you see yet another sunrise or sunset?
We are not able to enjoy small moments because our minds are clogged with memories (past) and illusion (future). The stress so created doesn't allow us to think well and we keep making errors that add up to the burden of stress we are already carrying. It is a viscous cycle. Break it. Enjoy life.

This is the only temple in the world where Abhishekam can be performed for koti lingalu.
This Temple is constructed by Shri. Padisala Veera Bhadraiah Garu and is located at Warangal, Telangana, India.
This temple has Koti Lingalu ( One crore Shiva Lingalu) and is the only temple in the world where one can perform abhishekam to Koti Lingalu.
If a person lives for 100 years and performs abhishekam to Shiva Lingam every day, he can only perform abhishekam 36,500 times in his life time. At this temple you can perform abhishekam to Koti Lingalu (1,00,00,000) at the same time.
History says that King Ravana, who was a great devotee of Lord Shiva, has performed abhishekam to 5 crore(pancha koti) Shiva Lingalu at the same time. Shri. Padisala Veera Bhadraiah garu was looking for options, for a normal human being to perform the same. This would not be achievable by a normal human being in his life time. With his research and guidance from lot of great saints, he came with an architecture where abhishekam can be performed for Koti Lingalu, at the same time. His dream and vision came true as Koti Lingala Temple, which is constructed in Warangal in 1987.
Temple is named as Shri Swayambhu Narmada Baana Kotilinga Veerabadra Narmadeshwara Swamy Devasthanam.

The truth established in the Vedas, the Puranas and the Tantras is but one Sat-cit-ānanda (Existence, Consciousness, and Bliss. Supreme reality). In the Vedas it is called Brahman, in the Puranas it is called Rama, and in the Tantras it is called Shiva. One Sat-cit-ānanda is called Brahman, Rama and Shiva.

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 8 Verse 20 - TemplePurohit.com
paras tasmāt tu bhāvo ’nyo
’vyakto ’vyaktāt sanātanaḥ
yaḥ sa sarveṣu bhūteṣu
naśyatsu na vinaśyati
Word Meanings:
paraḥ — transcendental; tasmāt — to that; tu — but; bhāvaḥ — nature; anyaḥ — another; avyaktaḥ — unmanifest; avyaktāt — to the unmanifest; sanātanaḥ — eternal; yaḥ saḥ — that which; sarveṣu — all; bhūteṣu — manifestation; naśyatsu — being annihilated; na — never; vinaśyati — is annihilated.
Explanation:
The ultimate substance of the form of the atma is completely distinct from prakriti or the material substrtatum pervading existence and is without birth and death. Thus it better then even the Cosmic Egg from where if one surmounts it there is also no return to material existence. This Lord Krishna is indicating in this verse and the next by the words paras tasmat meaning superior to that. His state is superior because He is totally separate from avyakta the unmanifest that emantes from Brahma and is invariably connected to prakriti or the material substratum pervading physical existence and the cause of the myriad of multitudes of variegated created beings alluded to in the previous verse. Yet Lord Krishna is revealing that there is another superior avyakta which is different, being eternal and full of consciousness which never perishes and is imperceptible by any means and measure of proof except by the evidence revealed in the Vedic scriptures. This superior avyakta coming from Him is never subject to destruction even when all the worlds and universes along with all movable and immovable beings are destroyed.
Although this process irrevocably applies to all beings indiscriminately there is one exception. In the case of Lord Krishna’s initiated devotees in authorised parampara or disciplic succession from any one of the four bonafide sampradaya’s as confirmed in Vedic scriptures being Brahma Sampradaya, Sri Sampradaya, Rudra Sampradaya and Kumara Sampradaya; they alone are exempt from rebirth again for once attaining Lord Krishna there is no question of any one of them ever having to take birth in the material worlds again for they are automatically promoted to the eternal spiritual worlds to associate with Him. ... Nandi In Hindutva - Bulls appear on the Indus Valley seals, including the 'Pasupati Seal', which depicts a seated figure and, according to some scholars, is similar to Shiva. However, most scholars agree that the horned bull on the Indus Valley seals is not identical to Nandi.
Some Puranas describe Nandi or Nandikeshvara as bull face with a human body that resembles that of Shiva in proportion and aspect, although with four hands — two hands holding the Parasu (the axe) and Mruga (the antelope) and the other two hands joined together in the Anjali (obeisance). Brahma Vaivarta Purana mentions Krishna himself to have taken the form of a bull as no one else in the Universe can bear Shiva.
Vehicle of Shiva: The bull Nandi is Shiva's primary vehicle and is the principal gana (follower) of Shiva.
Gate keeper of Shiva's abode: The close association of Shiva and Nandi explains the presence of a statue of Nandi at the gate of many temples dedicated to Shiva. It also explains why the word "nandi" in the Kannada, Telugu and Tamil languages is used as a metaphor for a person blocking the way.[citation needed] In Sanskrit, a bull is called vrisha, which has another connotation — that of righteousness or Dharma. It is important to seek the blessings of Nandi before proceeding to worship Lord Shiva.
Chief in Shiva's army: Some Puranas mention that Nandi lead the Shiva Ganas, Shiva's attendants.
A Guru of Saivism: In addition to being his mount, Nandi is Shiva's foremost disciple. In the Natha/Siddhar tradition, Nandi is one of the primal gurus. He was the guru to Siddhar Thirumulanathar, Patanjalinathar and others.
From the yogic perspective, Nandi/Nandhi/Nandikeshvara is the mind dedicated to Lord Siva, the Absolute. In other words, to understand and absorb Light, the 'experience and the wisdom' is Nandi which is the Guru within.
Spiritually, Nandi represents an individual jiva (soul) and the message that the jiva should always be focused on the Atman (Paramatman). ... See MoreSee Less

Mahavidya are Shakti of Dash Avatara of Shiva. Most people are only aware about Dashavatara of Lord Vishnu. However Shiva Purana Shat Rudra Samhita also gives Dashavatara of Lord Shiva along with respective Shakti. And the respective Shaktis are called Mahavidyas:
Shiva Purana Shat Rudra Samhita chapter 17 "Dashavatar of Shiva with Shakti -
Nandis’vara said, “Now you listen to the ten incarnations of Shiva including that of Mahakala, as found in the Upasana Kanda.
Mahakala happens to be one of them, who provides devotion as well as the salvation to the noble people. Mahakali happens to be his Sakti, who fulfills the desires of the devotees.
The second incarnation is that of Tara having Tara as his Sakti. Both of them bestow comfort to the devotees
The third incarnation is that of Bhuvanesa and his Sakti is called as Bala. Both of them bestow comforts to the noble people.
The fourth incarnation is that of Srividyesa and his Srlvidya is known as Sodas’i. Both of them provide devotion and salvation to their devotees.
Bhairava happens to be the fifth incarnation of Siva and Bhairavi in his Sakti. They fulfill the desires of their devotees.
The sixth incarnation is that of Chinnamastaka, and his Sakti is known as Chinnamasta. Both of them fulfil the desire of his devotees.
The seventh incarnation is that of Dhumavan. Dhumavati happens to be his Sakti. Both of them fulfil the desire of their devotees.
The eighth incarnation of Shiva, is that of Bagalamukha. Bagalamukhi, happens to be his Sakti.
The ninth incarnation is that of Matanga and Matangi is the wife of Shiva, who happens to be his Sakti. She fulfills all the desires.
Kamala happens to be the tenth incarnation of Shiva, which bestows the devotion as well as the salvation. Kamala or Girija happens to be his Sakti. She protects her devotees.
These ten incarnations of Shiva, provide always the worldly pleasure and salvation to their devotees.
The one who adores the ten forms of Shiva with an umblemished and spotless mind, daily. he achieved several types of comforts.
In the Tantra literature these ten incarnations of Shiva have been described. By adoring them, all the desires are fulfilled.
0 Sage, the astonishing type of glory of these eternal Saktis, has been highlighted in the Tantra-literature, who fulfil all the desires.
In the activities like the killing of the enemies, the aforesaid Saktis are taken to be the best. They punish the wicked people and increase the Brahmateja.
O Brahman, Mahékala, and other Saktis of Shiva, have been described by me with his ten incarnations. During all the festivities relating to Siva, whosoever recites this episode, or listen to it, he becomes immensely dear to Siva.
In case a Brahmana recites the same, he achieves the Brahmaleja, a Kshatriya becomes victorious, the Vaisya achieves the wealth, while the Sudra becomes comfortable.
The followers of Shiva, while listening to this episode, become more comfortable and get more devoted to Shiva. ... See MoreSee Less

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 8 Verse 22 - TemplePurohit.com
puruṣaḥ sa paraḥ pārtha
bhaktyā labhyas tv ananyayā
yasyāntaḥ-sthāni bhūtāni
yena sarvam idaḿ tatam
Word Meanings:
puruṣaḥ — the Supreme Personality; saḥ — He; paraḥ — the Supreme, than whom no one is greater; pārtha — O son of Pṛthā; bhaktyā — by devotional service; labhyaḥ — can be achieved; tu — but; ananyayā — unalloyed, undeviating; yasya — whom; antaḥ-sthāni — within; bhūtāni — all of this material manifestation; yena — by whom; sarvam — all; idam — whatever we can see; tatam — is pervaded.
Explanation:
What is designated as aksara or indestructible in the previous verses is the supreme goal of the jiva or embodied soul as spoken previously; but to avoid the identity of it as being the Supreme Being, Lord Krishna clarifies that the Supreme Lord is Purusa with form and personality and in reality distinct from the jiva although He resides within each and every one. This distinctness is already adequately established in the Brahma Sutras I.I.XXI which states: On account of a distinction being made the Supreme Lord is different from the individual atma or soul. The Svetasvatara Upanisad VI.IX states: He is higher than the highest and imperishable. To Him alone is rulership of the rulers and the God of all gods. There is nothing superior to or equal to Him. The Katha Upanisad II.II.XIII states: He is eternal among eternals and supra-conscious among the conscious. The Katha Upanisad I.II.XXIII states: He is only attainable to one whom He, Himself selects. . Th Puranas state: He is the Lord of prakriti the material substratum pervading physical existence and all embodied souls. He is the controlles of the three gunas of goodness, passion and ignorance. He is the highest of the highest and imperishable. In Brahma Sutras II.I.XXII it states: But on account of such distinction the brahman or spiritual substratum pervading all existence is something more than the atma; but the Supreme Lord is beyond even the brahman. He is the ultimate reality and His form of sat-cid- ananda or knowledge, eternity and bliss is the form of the ultimate goal of all existence. This verse reiterated again what was emphasised in verse 15 of this chapter for the benefit of all embodied souls. ... See MoreSee Less

Meenakashi (IAST Mīnākṣī) is an avatar of the Hindu goddess Parvati - the consort of Shiva. She is also one of the Hindu female deities to have a major temple devoted to her. The name "Mīnachchi" means fish eyed and is derived from the words "mīna" meaning fish and "akṣi" meaning eyes. The lady goddess Meenakshi is the principal deity of the temple and not Sundareswarar - this is unlike most Shiva temples in South India where Shiva is the principal deity. According to Hindu legend, in order to answer the prayers of the second Pandya king Malayadwaja Pandya and his wife Kanchanamalai, Parvati appeared out of the holy fire of the Putra Kameshti Yagna (sacrifice for childhood) performed by the king. According to another legend, the goddess herself gave a boon to Kanchanamalai in one of her previous births that she would have the privilege of mothering the goddess. The girl who came out of the holy fire had three breasts. A voice from the heavens told the king not to worry about the abnormality and added that the third breast would vanish as soon as the girl meets her future husband. The happy king named the girl "Tadaatagai" and being the heir to the throne, Tadaatagai was trained carefully in all the 64 sastrass, the fields of science. As the time came for Tadaatagai's coronation, she had to wage war on the three worlds across eight directions. After conquering Brahma's Abode, Sathyaloka, Vishnu's Abode, Vaikunta, and Devas' abode Amaravati, she advanced to Shiva's Abode Kailasha. She very easily defeated the bhoota ganas (IAST: Bhūtagana, meaning Shiva's army) and Nandi, the celestial bull of Shiva, and headed to attack and conquer Shiva. The moment she looked at Shiva, she was unable to fight and bowed her head down due to shyness; the third breast vanished immediately.Tadaatagai realized that Shiva was her destined husband. She also realized that she was the incarnation of Parvati. Both Shiva and Tadaatagai returned to Madurai and the king arranged the coronation ceremony of his daughter, followed by her marriage with Shiva.
The marriage was supposed to be the biggest event on earth, with the whole earth gathering near Madurai. Vishnu, the brother of Meenakshi, prepared to travel from his holy abode at Vaikuntam to preside over the marriage. Due to a divine play, he was tricked by the Deva, Indra and was delayed on the way. After the marriage, the pair ruled over Madurai for a long time and then assumed divine forms as Sundareswarar and Meenakshi who are presiding deities of the temple.Following the tradition, every evening, before closing the temple, a ritual procession lead by drummers and a brass ensemble carries the image of Sundareswarar to Meenakshi's bedroom to consummate the union, to be taken back the next morning in dawn. The marriage is celebrated annually as Chithirai Thiruvizha in Madurai. During the period of Nayakar rule in Madurai, the ruler Thirumalai Nayakar linked the festival Azhakar Thiruvizha and the Meenakshi wedding ceremony. ... See MoreSee Less

Beej Aksharas - TemplePurohit.com
The five syllables of this Mantra na, ma shi, va, ya are beej aksharas or seed-letters of the five elements of creation; earth, water, fire, air and ether. Flesh represents the earth, blood represents water; the body heat that helps in digesting food represents fire; the prana or life giving force represents air; and the mind represents ether.
Constant repetition of these holy syllables, either verbally or mentally generates powerful spiritual vibrations that render the mind pure and one pointed directing it inwards, heaing ultimately to the awakening of the kundalini, the spiritual energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine, the muladhar, in each individual.
"Na" refers to the Gross Body (annamayakosa), "Ma" refers to the Pranic Body (pranamayakosa), "Shi" or "Chi" refers to the Mental Body (manonmayakosa), "Va" refers to the Intellectual Body (vignanamayakosa) and "Ya" refers to the Blissful Body (anandamayakosa) and "OM" or the "silence" beyond these syllables refers to the Soul or Life within.
Om Namah Shivaya can be analyzed according to the elements, chakras and colors:
OM arises at the sixth chakra, and is associated with the mind. The mind has no element. It is essentially a formless vortex of light.
NA arises at the root chakra at the base of the spine and is associated with the element of Earth and is yellow in color.
MA arises at the second chakra and is associated with the element of water and is green in color.
SHI arises at the third chakra at the navel and is associated with the element of fire and is red in color.
VA arises at the fourth chakra at the heart and is associated with the element of air and is white in color.
YA arises at the fifth chakra at the throat and is associated with the element of ether and is blue in color. ... See MoreSee Less
